Hyewon Park (Korean, b.1979) is an installation artist whose practice intertwines narratives of memory, transformation, and ritual. Reinterpreting traditional Korean landscape painting through a contemporary perspective, her work integrates historical techniques with modern aesthetics, articulating poetic and nuanced visions of nature. Utilizing delicate materials such as threads, metal, and organic elements, Park creates immersive environments that reflect on the thresholds between presence and absence, reality and imagination. She holds an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design and has participated in major exhibitions and residencies worldwide, including Pier-2 Art Center (Taiwan), Red Mill Gallery (USA), and Youngeun Museum (Korea). Recent projects include My Dear Little Home (Ingahee Gallery, 2024) and Conversing through Art (Youngeun Museum, 2023).
박혜원(한국, 1979년생)은 삶과 죽음, 기억과 치유를 주제로 한 설치 작업을 통해 인간 존재의 근원적 질문을 던진다. 특히 한국 전통 풍경화를 현대적 시각으로 재해석하며, 전통 기법과 현대성을 결합해 환상적이고 정제된 미학을 담은 새로운 풍경의 세계를 펼친다. 붉은 실, 금속, 자연 소재 등 섬세한 재료를 활용하여 신체와 영혼, 현실과 이상을 잇는 상징적 공간을 구축한다. 런던 첼시예술대학에서 석사학위를 취득한 박혜원은 타이완 피어-2 아트센터, 미국 버몬트 스튜디오센터, 영은미술관 등에서 국제 레지던시와 전시를 이어왔으며, 최근 인가희갤러리에서 My Dear Little Home(2024)을 개최했다.
