Baek Ujin (Korean, b.1980) is an artist whose practice engages broad social narratives, with particular attention to social structures and human relationships. Working through metaphor and storytelling, he poses incisive questions across a range of sculptural and visual languages. He has held solo exhibitions at Ingahee Gallery, including Veil of Ignorance (2024) and I’ll Walk in Your Shoes (2023), as well as Moving Planet (2008) at Soul Gallery in Beijing.
Baek has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in Korea and abroad, including Balance for Coexistence (Goyang Aram Museum of Art, 2011), To Build (Project Space Sarubia, 2010), and the SongEun Art Award Exhibition (Insa Art Center, 2009). He received an Encouragement Prize at the 9th SongEun Art Award and published the illustrated narrative book Bird, Girl (2024).
백우진(한국, 1980년생)은 사회 전반의 구조와 관계에 주목하며, 은유와 내러티브를 바탕으로 다양한 조형 언어를 통해 질문을 던지는 작가이다. 인가희갤러리에서 《무지의 장막》(2024), 《너의 신발을 신고 걸어볼게》(2023) 개인전을 개최했으며, 중국 베이징 Soul Gallery에서 《Moving Planet》(2008) 개인전을 열었다.
또한 고양아람미술관 《공존을 위한 균형》(2011), 프로젝트 스페이스 사루비아 《짓다》(2010), 인사아트센터 《송은미술대상전》(2009) 등 국내외 다수의 그룹전에 참여했다. 제9회 송은미술대상전에서 장려상을 수상했으며, 그림 이야기 책 《새, 소녀》(2024)를 출간했다.
