《변수의 풍경》은 김재, 김한비, 최재원 세 작가가 함께하는 전시로, 기술적 체계가 끝내 포착하지 못하는 것—하나의 예측 가능한 결과로 환원되지 않는 요소들—을 탐구합니다. 2026년 8월 12일부터 29일까지 INGAHEE에서 열리는 이번 전시는 알고리즘, 측정 장치, 태양광 패널이라는 서로 다른 기술적 모티프를 통해, 하나의 결과로 수렴하지 않는 '변수'들이 만들어내는 풍경을 살펴보는 자리입니다.

김재의 〈수렴하지 않는 경로〉는 개미 군집 알고리즘에서 출발해, 최적의 경로에서 벗어나는 개체들에 주목하며 이를 영상과 3D 프린트 조형물로 구현합니다. 최재원의 〈영매 판독기〉와 〈빛 판독기〉 연작은 기억의 잔존을 감지한다는 가상의 장치를 전제로 회화와 기술적 장치를 결합합니다. 김한비의 〈변신중〉은 전시장 조명으로 충전되는 태양광 패널로 작동하는 키네틱 회화로, 회전하는 캔버스 스트립이 순간적으로 얼굴을 이루었다가 다시 흩어집니다.

《변수의 풍경》은 INGAHEE의 신규 연례 시리즈 '서머 오빗(Summer Orbit)'의 첫 번째 전시로, 매년 같은 시기 다른 매체와 질문으로 돌아오는 실험적 자리입니다.

Landscape of Variables brings together three artists—Kim Jae, Kim Hanbee, and Choi Jaiwon—exploring the residue that technological systems leave uncaptured: elements that resist resolution into a single, predictable outcome. Presented at INGAHEE from August 12 through 29, 2026, the exhibition engages algorithms, measuring instruments, and solar energy to examine how technical systems produce results, and what continually escapes them.

Kim Jae's Nonconvergent Path draws on the ant colony algorithm, turning toward the agents that stray from its optimal path, simulated in video and rendered as 3D-printed forms in the gallery. Choi Jaiwon's Spectral Readout and Light Reader series pair painting with invented technical apparatuses—fictional devices premised on detecting the residue of memory. Kim Hanbee's Transforming is a kinetic painting powered by solar panels charged under gallery light, its rotating canvas strips briefly aligning into a face before dispersing again.

Landscape of Variables is the first exhibition in Summer Orbit, INGAHEE's new annual summer series—a fixed occasion that returns each year with a different medium and question.
